Our commitment to a sustainable future is reflected in the creation of diverse habitats around our company headquarters: orchards that continue a millennia-old tradition, rough grass meadows as a refuge for rich flora and fauna, and flower meadows that attract pollinators and contribute to biodiversity.
With our own woodland, we make a direct contribution to CO2 compensation, while our seepage pond improves the local microclimate and absorbs heavy rainfall events.
Our participation in the Pro-K initiative "Zero Granulate Loss" underlines our efforts to avoid plastic pollution and protect the oceans. The use of natural energy sources, such as our photovoltaic system, and the implementation of LED lighting and motion detectors are further steps we are taking to make our operations more environmentally friendly.
