30 years of seniority

GRUENSFELD. Right from the start of the new year, the BOHLENDER GmbH was able to celebrate a long-lasting employee´s anniversary. In a special ceremony, President Volker Bohlender particularly honoured Eugen Krass for his 30 years of seniority.

On 16th January 1984 Eugen Krass, who is coming from Gruensfeld, started his career in the company that was situated in Lauda at that time. Beforehand, he made an apprenticeship to become a mechanic in neighbouring company Zwick, manufacturer of testing machines in Lauda.

After a short intensive familiarisation phase, Mr. Krass was able to handle his new line of action, the cam-controlled automatic lathe, and enlarged his knowledge continuously. He constantly assisted on the automation of proceedings and developed new application ranges. "You are the specialist regarding our automats and guarantor of quality," Bohlender said. Still today, the cam-controlled automatic lathes play a major role in view of economic production of bulk quantities. Even if there are new computer-controlled CNC lathes, the automatic lathes have not lost their cost-effectiveness.

In presence of the mayor of Gruensfeld, Mr. Joachim Markert, company´s founder Hermann Bohlender as well as some close colleagues, Volker Bohlender honoured the long-lasting commitment of Eugen Krass for the internationally successful company that is situated in Gruensfeld since 2002. He particularly stressed in his laudation Mr. Krass´ liability and loyalty for the company. After his expression of gratefulness and the handover of a present, Eugen Krass received a certificate of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce from mayor Markert. Afterwards the guests clinked their glasses for the 30 years´ anniversary and told many an anecdote from the past.
