Another part of the apprenticeship is the production of desiccators, drying cabinets and glove boxes which are used for the storage of sensitive substances and components.

The apprentices get some variety from their specific training organizing and executing events such as the Information Day for apprentices-to-be at BOHLENDER, a holiday programme day for children or the Trade show in Gruensfeld. Morever, their training programme provides internal education, intensive preparation for exams and visits of laboratory trade fairs.

After they have passed their exams in 2,5 respectively 3,5 years, they have a real chance to get a permanent job in the medium-sized family-run business. The recruitment of qualified personnel from among its own apprentices is an important part of BOHLENDER´s company philosophy and success.
