Move finished succesfully

After a construction period of only 8 months, company moved to the new location to meet new challenges.

Company BOHLENDER has finally left Lauda and moved - after a construction period of only 8 months - to the new location (Waltersberg)at the industrial zone of Lauda-Königshofen and Grünsfeld.

When, in the end of the 90s, it became clear that the building, which was first enlarged in 1984, does not do justice to the growing requirements, one first thought about another enlargement or a new building. If you look at the previous development of the company, a new building could be the only consequence of these thoughts. On a surface of approx. 2700 square meters, the location on the Waltersberg offers the necessary preconditions to realise the extensive plans of company BOHLENDER.

On this large area there is, besides a large space for production, warehouse, administration and social rooms, for the first time an apprentice training shop where up to six milling workers can be trained. With this, company BOHLENDER intends to stop the lack of qualified employees and to extend its high performance. The whole company surface of 14,000 square metres also gives options for an enlargement in the future. Company BOHLENDER produces articles for laboratories made of fluoroplastic, a high-tech material which is known under the trade name TEFLON -. These items are used in laboratories all over the world.

All important procedures of planning and construction are made internally. This fact gives the company the necessary freedom for independent decisions. From the foundation of the company more than 30 years ago up to the new building - one conviction was consequently converted and developed successfully. Company BOHLENDER unites tradition with the necessary far-sightedness of a modern and innovative enterprise.
